haha so thats a no?

My mechanic is being good about this, he told me he didnt adjust it too tight, nor too loose, and told me it could be many small things that would cause the same problem.

If its not fixed right at the dealership refuse to pay..

I have done it several times after unsatisfactory work..

Seems to me you want closure..

Take it to the dealership if all else fails..

Just take it to the dealer. Don't mention that anyone has worked on your car. Honda dealers don't really like when people take Honda's to other places to get fixed.

How long did you let the car cool down before they started to work on the valves?

When I did the valves on my old car, it took almost 4 hours for the engine to get completly cooled down. I even had the valve cover off for the last hour too.

Also, if any of the valves are worn, the feeler gauge will not give you a acurate reading. The feeler gauge will sit on the egde of a worn part, and keep you from getting a good spacing. (Hard to explain)

Yeah I'm told I 'should' get it back this weekend, so the beginning of next week I'm bringing it to the Acura dealership here in Hamilton. I've heard the mechanics there do great work, so we'll see.

****, this car is a money pit. I have to replace the shocks sometime as well.
