Wheels/Tires: stock 13" with 175/70/13 tires
Tank size: 40L
Gas: Shell 91 octane

Kilometerage: 400 km city driving.

They sell 94 Octane at Shell??

That's pretty good kilometerage for such a small tank though. Must be nice. I got 450 km on my last tank, but that was all granny-type driving in the city.

Not sure but...

Costs me about $6 worth of 91 fuel to get from TO to KW doing about 120-130. The trip is a little over 110km and $6 is about 1/4 tank. So about 440 on the whole tank doing highway. Mind you, this is a crappy little 89 civic dx fuel tank which is about 35 litres i think. I'll definately check next time

I think you should be doing a little better than that Ernest. Si engine's are gas sippers.

Yeah, I remember back in the day with an Si motor LOL

Actually, the electric pearl blue Honda Civic Si that I owned (1992 HB) and drove to BC took me about $140.00 worth of gas from Burlington, Ontario to Victoria, BC

This is a trip that is in excess of 3,000 kilometers.

The car was loaded with two people, and just about everything I owned at the time... (computer, TV, lots of heavy stuff).

So yeah, Si's are kinda gas sippers.. I figure it would have cost at LEAST 500.00 in gas in my Jeep

Regards,
OK

Ya know what it is?

You've seen my 'free flowing' exhaust system. Give a sexy man a break. I still need to get this **** on a dyno and correct the fuel curves and stuff. Does anyone know the redline and fuel cut off for a d16z6 anyways/

HAHA! I think it cuts out at 6800 rpm. At least that's what I remember from riding in other Si's.
