i need some help with clutch!
my clutch went out yesterday..hopefully its the clutch and not the tranny. i got some expert advice and they said it was the clutch. was wondering if anyone knew a place where they will replace it for cheap???dont really have that much money.

Cheap clutch - about $60 + $10 for a release bearing. The labour is about 8-9 hours for a pro. You can do it yourself over one weekend, but it doesn't sound like you are too confident about doing it yourself. So, find a place with the lowest hourly charge to do it. I don't know any shops personally.

if yer coolant freezes up these pop, so you don't crack the block (water expands when it freezes..if it has no form of release it's enuf to break steel..aluminum is candy to ice..)

Man, I had a kickin Crown Vic a few years back, but I sold it since the tranny started slipping. I was worried about pulling it and rebuilding it, since I was used to manual cars. I miss that boat
