I'm running eibach sportlines with the GR2's...
The Colt and Civics are very similiar in weight...
The springs dropped the car about 2', There is very little body roll.
When i had my crappy tire radials and i took a corner fast the rim would hit the pavement.
I bought some yoko a520's and i dont get the rubbing problem...
The ride is bouncy sometimes, but because of gr2's high spring rate this why it occurs...
just my $.o2

David's concern here isn't whether he can take out an s2000 in a corner. having gone through multiple suspensions now he just wants a setup that will last a while. that's what he's got. it's not the best setup but for daily driving he'll be fine.

in that case then might I suggest stock springs with gr2 shocks...what is the point of spending money on it if he doesnt' want performance...stock springs with gr2's woudl be a good daily driver setup...it woudl ride nice and the gr2's have slightly mroe dampening that stock so...

Well, I would agree that stock springs are most comfortable and would be a great match with gr2's, but the stock springs are pretty high and make the car look like a 4x4. Also when the back is loaded, its like an old american car with the back lower than the front by a lot. To the point, like Jugglez said, I'm not really into performance that much because I have a stock engine that hardly produces much power. I just want the tad lower look and pretty comfortable ride along with a little better control than stock without going crazy, thats all.

When they say "warranty void for drops > 1.5 inches" I consider that a warning. But anyways, I also have Eibach Sportlines on KYB GR2's and they ride fine. The only time it's really bouncy is when I'm doing 120 on the highway and hit a big dip in the road or something. It's not like it bounces 10 times each bump or anything though. It also handles a lot better then I expected (I know they aren't the greatest shocks) so I can't wait to see how it performs with lower tie/upper strut bars.

I got mine for $350 but some places like Performance Improvements sell them for like $120/piece which is ridiculous. Or maybe it's just the fact that I know the owners of Lethal Rides in Hamilton, one of them being my gf's cousin.
