I got a ractive on my civic, I always thought they were one of the quietest muffler you could get

 

You serious man??? I personally think the Ractive is just really big and extremely loud.

I got myself a WeaponR exhaust which sounds similar to the GReddy with the low hum to it. I'm lovin it. Its also nice on the highway, almost like my stock muffler. LoL

 

Oh ya, as for quietest muffler, I believe the Mugen one is the quietest one you can get right now, but I may be wrong.

i had a ractive exhaust on mine and i have a court date in may for it... i dont really know much about exhuast systems, so i wouldnt know if its the loudest or not...but i was pulled over for it a lot

i think my Spoon N1 is quite loud and deep, but i don't know how does mine compares to others. maybe someone could comment on it when i am in the meet next week.

 

i made my "mufler" at home one day..... all i did was get a piece of 2.25 in exhust tube from canadian tire.....and throw a $40 tip at the end..... if you keep it below 4000 its not so loud (avoids tickets)..... and on vtec is just screams (makes me sound cool).... although not tested i'm sure it must flow well with its lack of restriction....

the APex N1 is probaly the nicest i've heard espically in v-tec..it definitly would be my choice.

 

man it's just wrong to get anything mechanical frm ractive....lights and sh*t is okay......
as for loudness you'll regret gettin some loud sh*t.....i have the vibrant cat back and it's just STUPID loud......
i love the deep throaty sound.....but it's just TOO loud.....specially on the highway....i pitty the fool who sits in the right/back seat on top of the muffler........

you'll buy a loud one and then start saving money to get a quiet one...like me

 

I'm sad to say i got the Ractive SuperFlow intake
But it whistles like a TURBO!!!

I got an Apex'I dunk. It has a 4.5inch tip on it and its the sweetest sound when you hit VTEC, and personally one of the top 3 exhaust you can put on a civic, aswell as the Greedy Evo. (i'm surprised no one recomended it). It's not an annoying farting loud like ractive or magnaflow. Its very deep, trust me dude go for the Apex"i Dunk. It pretty prices. almost a 1000 installed, but you won't regret it. I still get compliments for having a sweet sounding car.
