low profile tire inquiry

I have an 01' civic with the stock 14" tires on right now. I just picked up a set of 01' 15" si rims. I'd like to put some low profile tires on them, but I'm wondering whether it would make my car look too high since it is not lowered. If this is the case, then I'll just put some regular tires on.

If anyone has a suggestion, let me know. Thanks.

Yeah, it looks pretty ridiculous with smaller tires if the car is not lowered.

yup... my car looked so horrible with 40 series tires and not lowered....
my theory is the wheelgap has to be at least the tire sidewall... so lower profile=you need to lower

low profile tires on 15's probably wont be what you think... The smallest size wont look low profile... Buy 17 inch rims if you want lowprofile rubber

Ok, so I guess the consensus is to just get regular tires, instead of the low profile.

Thanks for all the input
