Motorbike swap
is it possible to put a CBR1000, ducati 999, R1, GSXR1000 engine in a civic...
150hp or so and 5 digit redline... that would be sweet as hell
no torque though huh, if its possible thta would be the main flaw huh?
or the turbo honda motor in the jet ski thing, sweet!

the only major flaw woudl be the fact that you could not ge tteh car to move (no torque)...unless you have ever ridden a bike you might not understand...they make like 10-40 hp and 20-30 lbs or torque for most of the powerband...they come on hard after 7-8000 rpm's, so major clutch slippage would be needed and you woudl have to keep the revs over 5000-7000 to keep the car moving

true.... it just popped into my head when i was readin an article on a CBR1000 engine and how advanced they are....so i was curious if anyone seen it dun..
it would be cool to see though, like if sum1 had a full on show car that doesnt get driven, so it could just get WOW! points with the judges

it's been done in old old old skool Hondas... like the S500 (old predecessor to the S2000) and more recently I've seen it done in a late 70s Civic.
what I'd like to see is 4 independent CBR motors, one at each corner !!
