Need to change my muffler
#22
I have an OEM SiR cat back on my car and I love the way it sounds. It's a bit bigger in diameter then the stock Si exhaust and the muffler and resonator are slightly different so it sounds louder then a normal Si. It was cheap too.

I just went onto the dynomax website and they have a section where you can listen to the OEM and the Dynomax muffler. Not a lot of selection of cars, but they do have sounds of an OEM civic and a Civic with their muffler

I like the look of the OBX or Ractive Twin Loops. They have perfect size tip on them and the muffler tucks up behind the bumper so you don't have to see it hanging down (Like my old World Sport did). spracingsports has one on his car.
Try e-bay for prices/dealers.

Too expensive, I can still get a performance one with silencer on it.
Already checked with Parkway

Ok, I will let you know. I still want the performance muffler on it though. I will see what happens after my visit at Auto Accessories. They have some Vibrant silencers that we will try out and see if they work.

if you don't already have a resonator start there, with a resonator, magnaflow street series is fairly quiet if you still want to have an ss muffler with several styles to choose from stay away from race series though (really loud). I have a a street series on my car right now and it's much quieter than the muffler I had before I just ordered an 18" vibrant resonator to take away a lil more noise and get rid of the raspiness.

Stock SiR muffler works just fine.Flows well, 2" diameter inlet. Pick one off at a wrecker if you can. If still on the car, have the guy pull it off with a torch. I used to have one, just gave it away to a local kid a couple of months ago.
