i have a 92 civic dx, h/b,.. 5 spd,... that i just picked up off a friend of a friend as is

it does not run, i was told that the computer didn't work anymore, ....... now would i have to get a computer for a 92 dx in order for it to run, or would another years civic work also,.. example any computer from 92-95 dx?
