if you saw my last post i was talking about quarter mile runs.... the only way i would be carrying the bottle around is if it was empty or it just got filled and was disconnected and i was on my way to the track.... is this not legal ?? my only plans for it was to use it at the track... is it legal for me to transport it there if the bottle is secure in its brackets and disconnected ?? and also is it legal for me to have the bottle connected to the line for show if the bottle is COMPLETLY EMPTY ?? or is having the kit installed already breaking the law.... please enlightin me thanks

I believe that the law on nitrous is that it can not be attached even if the bottle is empty.

Elistian, I think the point that was brought up is that you ride in a very heat score Honda. If you got pulled over and the cop found nitrous in your car do you think he would want to hear your explanation, legitimate or otherwise, or would he be too busy impounding your car because he thought you were a street racer?

I'm not saying that i think you're a street racer or that you would use nitrous in a dangerous way but I think the cop would act first and let you sort it out with a judge later.

yea you know what your right.... good point.... i was just thinking on the lines of darknights but i guess it could be hooked up to the bottle after the car is already in the show and parked....

and about running the 50shot NOS setup on the kit where theres a hole drilled in the intake tube and then another hose like perged into something by the fuel rail(i think it is the dry kit not the wet kit, can someone confirm this) anyways running that setup on a B16A2 im getting installed what do i do exactly to run it without the danger of blowing my headgasket or anything.... if i run colder plugs and nothing but 94octane and regular oil changes and make sure all the fluids are always topped should i be ok if i only run like no more then 2 quarter mile runs at the track in a row..... will that be enough so that i wont blow my head gasket or anything with only a 50shot and all those percautions ie colder plugs etc.... thanks for the help.... cheers

and a 50 shot will not blow a good headgasket if you do everythign we talked about. (if your responsable with it, and follow the guidelines, RPM engaement, duration of shot ect..)

it has sulpher added to it, to make your peuke... but you can filter it out with a series of pails, and hoses full of watrer and bakeing soda, then catch it in a bag at the end...

I am not responsable for those who read that lol
