ok wierd mod for my car wil it work ??

but i want the car 2 be slammed all the way down like fraim on the ground slammed but inorder 2 do that i need the cilinders 2 be shorter but thats expensive 2 buy whole new cilinders

so what i was thinking was get some steal pipe about 10inch pipe and putiong it over the top of the part were the suspention joins the car now welding it all down cutting the hole out inside the pipe and then welding that back on top of the pipe???

any ideas or u think this is totaly ****ing retarded idea??

that wont work under the hood because you will have to cut open your hood in oder for it to be exnteded.....The rear is could work tho.....

i;m sure it would work in theory..

in practice, you really should not be modifying major structural components like that... if that weld cracks, your car is just going to fall straight into the ground.. while it may be fun at 20 km/h.. i would be very concerned for your saftey if it happened at 140...

by doin this you will reduce the raised height by whatever you raise the shock tower...this may be fine if the cylinder has enough height to get it back up to a normal ride height...mods like this arent out of the ordinary, infact I've seen many cars in magazines and at shows with a similar mod to lay it out completely on the ground...as long as the welds are good it should be safe but I would still think u are gonna need longer cylinders which if thats the case u might aswell just get shorter ones so u can lay the car out

yea thanks the distance is like 10inches that they move so if i made it drop like the 5inches i need i stil have 5 inches 2 go up and have normal ride height

so thats not realy an isue

i wil do some reasurch into what i can buy as far as cilinders are concerned

this would be done over the top i would never drive the car unles i was 300% shure that it was all welded properly and even given extra suports enen tho they arnt needed

il look into it and let u goys know

i just love the look of a slamed car

or i could get a whole way round lip kit of some kind

were can i get that stuff from ?? i have never see like a lip that it kinda stock looking but makes the car apear lower

front back and sides i want

i seen guys do the 2lip thing i would want somethin like 4 lips and the whole car like that
