this was before Tom was even born hater!
by my best recollection, this was around year 2000/2001, just after I sold my Susp Techniques 2.5" springs for $150. I used them for one summer, with 17 inch wheels, stock shocks. The ride was actually not too bad. However, the H&R coilovers I have now, the springs are nearly twice the length, so that makes it twice as nice haha

yes indeed, I was a ricer too... I was 18-19 years old, what do you expect? those stock shocks were amazing, they are still in excellent shape, I keep them around just in case - I was very easy on my shocks always!
I still have coilovers, except they look like this now:

well i meant dampers as in the APEX N1 and stuff like that.. they call them dampers or full-coilovers on their sites
you know what i meant smarty pants.... the full setup you just bolt in/ spring/shock combo

oh ok... those are H&R full coilovers in the pic. My buddy has Apexi ones, and he's blown them.
gatherer, a strut is as I understand, a part of the steering system and turns with the steering knuckle. A shock is fixed in orientation.
