basically why woudl you want to put a motor that is 5 years older than your car into it...it jsut seems stupid to me...try and get a obd2 b16...go to a better shop this one sounds sketchy

Thanks for the help, the installer and seller are not from the same place. Just to clarify, I gave the seller a call today and he cleared things up. I'll give more of an update once I actually go and check things out. The seller is an honest guy though so I don't expect there to be any problems
