Nova, Beaks is aluminium, you can't weld it to your steel subframe.

DumbasSi, it's not recommend, it's a must. The Beaks isn't REALLY a reinforecement plate, it's MAINLY a mount to correct the geometry of the sway bar, putting it on w/o the Beaks places the endliks at an angle to the LCA, which puts a great deal of stress on the subframe, eventually tearing it. Using the Beaks kit, the endlinks end up perpendicular to the LCA, therefore transferring ONLY torsion through the sway bar, and hence less stress on the subframe. It's also a nice feature that Beaks has a large contact area to the subframe and it acts as reinforcement.

Good heads up Bruno. I think that Beaks kit is going on my Xmas wish list. Who carries Beaks in the GTA anyway. It's always mention, but no one ever says where they get the parts from. It's looks way better the the SRR kit I was looking at a few months ago.

SRR is also a very solid setup, but I like the ITR cuz I can go to the dealer and get endlinks, bushings, etc... in other words it's servicable.

I got the parts right from beaksproducts.com, though if you contact Ed SiR_Y0, I'm sure he can set you up. If not, then Kevin, SR20 MR2 or something like that, I know he can get them for sure.

For Beak's product, I believe it is best to order from their website. Because the dealers make very little money off of the parts.

Would you be able to notice the ITR anti-sway bar change?

$160US + shipping isn't too bad for the Si/SiR upgrade.

22mm rear sway bar does wonders. Today, on the on ramp, I was having so much fun. Suspension wasn't up to par but overall, not bad.

There is Mugen 26mm rear sway for 6th gen. For the front, I think there is 28mm or 30mm sway bar? I do think 26mm front should be good enough. I still need to test it out cause I don't have the front 26mm bar on the car yet.

Nova, the 26 front will really cut the fun factor back a lot, but the car will be way safer and handle hella better, but the neutral/understeer balance will return.
