Some of you people are tools.....how would it be cooler if it were front engine? This guy has put tremendous fab skills into grafting a subframe into the rear and bracing it properly.

And the lame donut is probably due to the suspension geometry being off. He re-built the front frame rails out of tubes too, so his pickup points may have moved, which would mess up caster, camber, etc. Also, I believe the rear subframe had shifted when he was filming this video- it has since been more securely welded in place.

That is one hell of a alot of fabrication involved - hats off to the guy. Guess it had to be done..

 

Looks like he could use a little more power to make that donut show an actual donut show!

cool idea, and good fab, but imo the cars junk, handling is completly gone and the cars got no ***** to even do a donut cuzz its torquless and there way to much weight out back now.

 

Yeah, the car's total junk now, especially since it was built not to do donuts and impress Internet fanboys but to actually perform well on a road course.

id rather have a 1 off swap like that, then useless body kits & underglows,


that car will outperform a front wheel drive car anyday on the track, and he is the first to own a rear wheel drive del-sol in the WORLD FOLKS!!!!
