Sir V-tec

I just picked up an SIR and it drives really nice. It's pretty fast but I dont feel a nice pull until the v-tec kicks in around 6g or something. I was wondering what I can buy so that my v-tec can kick in earlier. I think this would make the car faster right?

yea turbo would be wicked, but I heard there is something that isn't expensive and it makes your v-tec kick in around 3500-4 or something around there.

Honda engineers spent thousands of hours finding the ideal engagement point. And you wanna go and change it?

you will only benefit if you have major internal engine modifiations done.

yah there's absolutely nothing before VTEC kicks in. you cant get much torque out of a N/A 1.6 litre engine. but at 8000rpm it moves pretty good

and it's true about the vtec crossover, dont change it unless you do some serious mods.

if anything, 5200-5350 seems perfect range for the vtec engagement on a completely stock SI

lemme find that dyno pic
