first ...

thanks for not starting a new thread .... you rock,...

ok while it's do able ... I don't recommended the shortened shock travel and static force pushing the piston (of the shock) in will result in premature failure of the stock shock eventually ....

I'd suggest some aftermarket ones....

Has anyone on this board used KGMM springs? I got a set that I havent installed yet..

How do they rate against other spring manufatures?

Hopefully they team up well with my Tokico Illumina's

Well, if you have tires with profile of higher than 50, it won't be THAT harsh of a ride.

However, if you have rims and tires with say 40 profile (thats 205/40/17 or 205/40/16 i.e.), then you just have ruined your car's handeling AND ride! You will be bouncing all the time and experience a VERY, VERY harsh ride....

is that an actual manufacturer?

because the metric equivalent to pounds/inch is Kg/mm

I have done almost 80,000 kms on my stock shocks with H&R Sports. 15's one year, 17's this past year. The ride is still fine, and my shocks are still good. I'm planning on upgrading this summer. As long as you aren't beating on your car, then stock shocks should be fine for a while.
