hehehe thanks, i might just be needing that soon if i do put a turbo on this setup. Maybe i should go really "ghetto" and run a 12:1 FMU with 7 psi lol.

lol, consider it erased...

so tell us then when you clean up the block, how much do you take out ('stock bore') and what size pistons do you use?? Does Honda make OEM oversized pistons for when a block is bored?

ok cool... now... do you also align the ummm crank journals (I think that's what it's called) to make the deck parallel to the crank, and THEN once you've established your crank position you bore and hone the block?

BTW, I thought the honing process was just refreshing the cylinder walls with that cross-hatch finish, while boring the block was actually straightening the walls to be perpendicular to the deck/crank. Also, I've heard of ppl putting a taper on the cylidner walls... is this a huge mistake like I think it is?

I :heart: having you around... someone who's been doing this for so long... cuz there is SO much bullsh!t I've heard over the years!!

well if the cylinders are straight then i may only need to have them honed so the new rings will seat properly?

So im looking at
-Distributor
-Plugs
-Tranny
-Clutch, PP
-resurface flywheel
-starter
-rings
-head gasket
-oil pan gasket
-Valve cover gasket
-rod bearings
-Crankshaft Main bearings

What else am i missing?

Should i just use the starter, distributor from my B18B1 and get a new one for the B1 ? Also where could i get a PP and clutch for a B1 for cheap? I was thinking of looking for a used pressure plate and just buy a clutch disc from honda or something?
