Suggested Coilovers
#3
Knockoff meaning that they look the same, not perform the same. The groundcontrols come with eibach springs and custom spring rates. Either get a set of ground controls or skunk2's. Or save up and get some H&R's or Teins. Tom's motorsports and all those other generic brands ride horrible.

toms woudl also ride horrible cause most the noobs buy cheap coils' to ride on stock shocks...I'm sure if you paired it with a agx or koni yellow it woudl ride way better...but I woudl stay clear if you want quality.
gc's with an adjustable shock of your picking or tein ss

skunk2 is GARBAGE....
Ground control is okay since eibach makes the springs.
serisouly you are wasting your time with coil sleeves, you can tell when a car has coil sleeves becasue they bounce like a **** on every crack and crevice in the road.
it is seriosuly funny to watch...
make your car STIFFER not bouncier.
go with full coilovers, they are not that much more than a good spring shock combo...
coil sleeves will just ruin your car.

^^that's because 99% of the kids riding around on coil sleeves have stock shocks that are blown... and full coilovers wotn' bounce cause they have good adjustble shocks to boot...well gee then buy gc's then put soem koni yellows with it, that makes sense dosent' it and seems like the same thing now...oh wait cause it is only difference is it comes in separte peices..get soem custom rate gc's with koni yellows and you will have a gnarly setup that will blow any off the shelf spring setup away

i bet i could put those toms coilovers on my shocks and have a blast... i think the key is having a shock up to the job... i mean if those toms coils have a 450 front and 350 rear spring rates then there only a bit less then my springs now... so maybe my ride would actually be smoother?

Koni's and GC's are going to be over a grand, and no pillow mounts and no camber plates...
the only height adjust is with spring load.
not as much damp adjust as with many coilovers...
you save a couple hundred dollars and give up thousands of dollars in important extra features.
lowering your car should nto hurt your performance, coil sleeves cannot help you.

Get lowering springs as they were designed for street conditions. If you're not going to race at the tracks, don't waste money on full coilovers as you're not putting it to full use unless you're a friggin street racer.
I hate when young kids come to a forum and ppls are telling to get coilovers and when they do, these kids complain the rides are rough. well of course it is as you need to spend extra on good shocks and also coilovers aren't meant for the streets.
I have lowering springs on my Civic and think it's the best in terms of ride comfort. I use to have coil sleeves before and the ride sucked so bad feeling every little bumps. the handling on smooth road was awesome and when doing turns but when it comes to rough pavement, look out!
So advice to kids out there, go with sport lowering springs which works well with stock shocks. don't let anyone tell you differently saying the stocks will blow, that is so naive and ignorant. my brother drove on stock shocks for over 2 years, nothing happened. It depends on the springs really and how low you want to go.

^^ ok HKS power shoudl I even botehr ...hmmm...yes I will...ok stock shocks might not "blow" right away but they cant' handle the high spring rate so therefor you get a uncontrolled movment of the suspension...it's like a 150 pound guy trying to lift over 300 pounds it isnt' gonna work...compared to a power lifted (beign a good shock) can make controlled liftes of that weight...
go take a spring and compress it then try and control multiple comressed and retractions....then go get a stiffer spring and try to control that comrpess and rebound...much harder and probobly not smooth....you get the picture now I think...stock shocks werent' desingned to handle high spring rates...
