The tein rusting issue has been dealt with as far as I have heard. Maybe look at progress and some of the many other companies around.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above mentioned... but I'd go with H&R

Look at stuff like height adjustability range, dampening adjustments, spring rates etc. Some coilovers are purely for the track with super high spring rates and others are lower designed for mild track use.

you want a street oriented coil over...nto a race setup that will rattle yoru kidney's out....get a tein SS or a low level H&r setup...both will be more than enough...the tein ss is the one you want...nto sure with the H&r but read up on it..it will state whether it's race or streetable usually

i agree go with super streets, it depends application but unless your planning on taking her to the track often the RA's are too stiff, H&R is pretty stiff too

All of the brands you listed are great in terms of build quality, but what is your budget and what will be your primary, secondary, etc... uses for the coilover system. Narrow down your requirements then you will have a smaller set of coilovers to choose from. For example, one of my customers just put a set of Tein SS on his hatch with gsr swap, goes to the track like twice a year, if that, so he couldn't justify spending almost double on a set of buddy clubs and didn't want to wait for them to come in either.

a lot of the s2k guys like the Buddy Clubs and I think I'd go with that if I had the cash or even Teins. I am probably gonna go with Koni's and springs myself cuz it's a little more affordable for me.

So if you got the cash, go buddy club!

Coat them with an oil based spray/lube from time to time to prevent rusting.

I have H&R and I'm very satisfied with them... my buddy has Teins and I like them very much as well. You can't go wrong with either. Any susp where you spend a good chunk of coin will serve you well, but IMO, Germans>Japanese when it comes to dampening technology. That is the ONLY technology where Germans shine Think... Bilstein, Eibach, H&R, Koni, Ohlins, B&G, those are all western european companies that are top names in susp tech.

And that's not to mention the industrial applications like their hydraulic presses for stamping metal... the best presses in the world come from Germany too... called Schuler.

Caloge: Why do you think I drive a CRX? What does that have to do with anything? I'm coming to TO this Wed. Do I have to meet up with you to justify what car I drive?

UPDATE:

I am most likely going to get the H&R Ultra low coilovers.
I am paying $1700 + tax ! Not a bad price .

I am a firm beleiver of the "German engineering" when it comes to suspension systems...
