Time for break change, advice please
#43
Jay, long story short. Car needs break pad change, I want or I am thinking of break system upgrade, Bruno suggested ITR 4 disc swap, I asked dealer for a quote, quote came out to be 5400 plus labour plus tax, a friend can get me 20% cheaper, some people suggested getting 2nd hand ITR breaks, I cant find any.
So, I am just gonna save the money, and make some decision before winter comes.

thanks... I was in WTZ (wheel and tire zone) today to get an alignment and spoke to them about brakes for the civic solo 2 car and they recommended Hawk pads for the front and were going to look up something for the rear and also recommended drilling small holes in a non sturcural part of the drum to vent heat told me 300 to 400 all said and done for all the brake stuff including a flush and refill of the brake fluid... (I forget the name of the fuild they mentioned but it was 25 bucks for 1/2 liter (be glad gas ain't that expensive))
