tranny question

i currently just got a d16z6 swap and a tranny conversion as well(from auto to manual) right now all the gears are working just fine except that sometimes it's hard to put it in reverse(feels like its not going all the way in)i don't know if this is something serious or it's just me cause i'm still learning how to drive stick?

same thing happens on my car (D15B7) anyways I find the gears just arn't lining up ...if I let the car roll a touch in neutral they line up ... I think reverse doesn't have syncros

that's happening to me too, every time the gear(reverse) seems too stubborn to go in, i put it back to neutral then it would go in nicely, i don't know if this is something serious i'm kinda worried about this

its alright, just blip the throttle a bit while engaging it into reverse from neutral.

reverse has no synchro's, hence the "tuggy" feeling.

blip the throttle and wait for the engine to idle.......ma bad

and if it still doesnt go in ( gears not .... ), then throw it in 1st/3rd and then reverse

hehehe thats why I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters..... they hate it when I hit the brakes though....

so in the end the problem with the tranny is just the gears not lining up? and all I have to do is up in the thread there to get them to line up........
