V-Tec question?

I was just wondering at what RPM the vtec kicks in on a: si, sir, gsr, type r, prelude...

and do you guys notice a difference at all lol? i mean you can hear the v-tec and all but does it actually pull?

Yes you can hear it. Well I can with my CAI. Its much louder when vtec kicks in.

For my 04' si, it kicks in around 3000 rpms. I feel hardly any difference.

yeah, i have a zc sohc vtec engine, i cant really tell when vtec kicks in, ive bneen in an sir, u car hear and feel when that vtec kix in

sounds like with the SOHC motors the VTEC is not noticable while with the DOHC it is. btw mine kicks in @5400rpm

You CANNOT hear d-series vtec. I dont care what you say, u cant hear it.

My b-series vtec kicks in at 5200, its quite noticable.

i could hear my old d16y8 vtec so either your hard of hearing or the engine had no vtec

if you punch the throttle fast its hard to hear but if you accelerate slower you can hear the switchover

wow 54000 rpms... what kind of engine do u have..

u can hear the vtec in the D series engine. Its just not as good as vtec in the b series.
