Holy old post. I solved my problem long ago. All 4 set to the softest setting. I rides like stock again, no bounce, but it handles very nice.

 

He used the search function, its about time someone used it !

 

some guy I know cut his springs and his car use to bounce like there's no tomorrow... i don't know why some people go through all that trouble when you can buy decent springs for $200

 

If your ride feels bouncy over the large dips in the road, but firm over the small ripples, you may be underdampened for your springs. I have that issue, right now. I'm using a full coilover setup. And wasn;t sure what the gas should be charged to. I think the shocks are having a tough time controling the springs. sometimes my butt comes of the seat over large dips. Also may winter tire sidewalls are huge. I think with a stiff suspension this can make the car feel very nervous. (bouncy?)

 

Check to make sure, there aint a fat chick in the back of ur ride bro....LOL....

 

personally when I have my back shocks set higher then my front ones it bounces... I'm betting it's shock settings
