Fuel injection


ID number - this id number is where you guys said the "ZC" would be...its to the left of the engine, about half way up it.

hope this helps...and i need advice for CAI, do i get it for my BODY [ef], or engine [ek]...im confused.

is the fi system still from my EF? does that determine the cai?

that motor to me looks like d15 series...

The newer ones are K24
The older ones are B20

look at the first pic.....look right under where the distruibter and the engine meet....there should be the code

 

thats where that code was..between distro and engine, just a bit lower.

 

if it helps at all, this engine was imported for a 1993 Civic Hatch Cx, did those even have dual or multiple injection? which?

 

the code should read left to right....not up and down

 

it should be here. It should also look like my previous post in the pic I posted.

It's on a flat section on the engine. About 1" x 1 1/2".

 

It's probably so dirty, that you can't see the numbers.

PULOVR: the area you circled is EXACTLY where that code is, and it is vertical..NOTHING horizontal...ive looked, unless its like...super super small, magnifying glass small..and hte engine isnt super dirty.

 

The numbers are not that deeply engraved. Even a little dirt will make it almost impossible to see them. I have yet to see an engine (Honda) that did not have the numbers there.
