What's a good drop?

I want to slam my car, but im not sure how low I should go.
I am possibly going to put a kit on it in the future, so i dont want to go too low.
I also don't want to be scraping everytime I go in my driveway.
I've been told to go 1"8, but just looking for other opinions
thanks

I want it to look good, but i dont wanna tear up the bottom of my car either, or my kit (if I get one)
wouldn't 2" be too much?
Right now its 5 and a half inches off the ground

if your getting a kit u should find out the dimensions of it so u can see how much u want to lower it. or get coilovers so u can adjust when u get your kit

Ya I guess i'll have to find the dimensions of the kit first, even though im not planning on getting it for like a year, i dont even know what kind I want yet
I would get coilovers but I dont wanna have to deal with new shocks every 6 months

I got some performance shocks in right now, and they don't do much for lowering it.
They came with my car when i bought it from the guy, but I think their Apex'i.

Hahaha yeah, i would love to have air ride in my babee but i stick to something more in my price range for now, lol

And be prepared to fix things when they start to break.

And what rim size(height/width) and tire size did you go with, with that drop?

Do you guys know if h & r makes a spring kit with a 2" drop front and back. I know Eibach doesen't and Neuspeed makes a kit which drops the fronts 2.25 and the back 2". Im also in search for a nice set of springs to replace my coils. I recently had eibach road race which dropped her 1.7 in front and 1.6 in back and it was way too high for my liking
