Wheels/rims questions
Ok so I have my new rims on and im very happy with them but im having some rubbing problems. I think the tires may be rubbing on the inside of the wheel well. It mostly occurs at full lock or almost full lock when turning even slowly. Im not 100% but i tried to raise the front up and it seems like its all the way up but ill check that tommorow when it isnt so windy.

Yeah I figured they were a little too wide. I raised the car today in the front all the way up and it hasnt rubbed yet so im gonna wait to see. IT would suck to have to sell my rims as ive only had em like a week. when I was raising the car today I saw that the inside part of the wheel well (closest to the engine was being rubbed on in a few different places.

Ok so it looks like I have to make a decision. I can go and put some spacers on until the wheel doesnt hit the wheel well. I'm guessing I will have to roll/flare the fender out alot if i go this route? I wouldnt mind doing it if it looks nice and not outta place.
Second option is to just keep em and live with the rubbing .
Third option is to sell and try and get my money back and buy new rims (17 x 7 40-42 offset).

they change the stress loads on the car's suspension and if they are off (not the exact same width) they will cause issues...
however if you want to get some machined I recommend Concpets on wheels company Leitner Performance...
I also agree with ElectronBlue rubbing is a very serious issue...
let me see the problem at the meet tonight I'll bring my jack and stands and we can take a good look at options you have
