Where to buy K&N cleaner
#3
yeah they have it at crappy tire, i think i purchased mine at pac mall for 15 a year ago or so. i just clean it whenever i have time or i know that i won't use the car for a day, since to properly clean it you need like a full day for the filter to dry naturally.

Absolutely, positively, never use engine oil (if you go to K&N's web site, they're very specific about this). Also, water alone won't wash the filter. You need to use their cleaner to dissolve the existing filter oil. Also, you're wasting your time and money if you clean a K&N filter earlier than about 80,000 km. There's no loss of flow as they get moderately dirty, but the filtering action is actually enhanced.
