I have a 92 SI H/B.. the engine says
d16z6... does that mean vtec??

yes it is a sohc vtec.

through 92-95 the only cars that came with the vtec motors were the SI and the USDM EX

Brad, don't forget the 5th gen Sedan EX-V. This one's the holy grail for sedan lovers, had all the Si goodies (Vtec, sunroof, rear discs...)
