well true coils arent the ONLY way..a good spring/shock combo does the same..minus the perk of raising and lowering your car whenever you want..still, i cant afford true coilovers....yet.....haha i wish

Ya but you also have to look at the type of Car. Car's like RX-7's,Talon's,Supra's ect.. You can get away with it because the car's have stiff shock's from the Factory. And Talon's/Supra's are Heavy and Fairly low stock. So if you drop them an Inch the Shock's are stiff already and can take it. A car like a Civic is Designed for the Everyday person and It is not stiff and not set up for Handling. So when you drop the Car the Shock's are tottally Inadequate. Thats why I say when lowering an Economy car Shock's shoudl be mandatory. Guy's can get away with it if there lowering a SPORTS car.
