HUGE CRX PROJECT

The time has come to sell the car I thought I would own forever. This was the first car I ever bought as a teenager and has been lovingly cared for from day one. Unfortunately, now that I am much older and life has decided to get in the way I have come to realize I do not have the time to commit to this project any longer and it must go. My intentions were to bring the car back to a slightly modified level in a very clean way so as to look more stock yet enhanced. Everything I intended to put on the car will be included in the sale and the list is as follows…

- Stock 1989 Honda CRX Si
- ZC DOHC Engine with ~ 40K KMS
- 1991 Acura Integra distributor
- 3 Different ECU’s
- Additional 1991 CRX Si transmission
- Brand New short throw shifter and polyurethane bushings
- Brand new strut tower bar
- Full 6 piece polyurethane Wings West body kit
- 17” Eagle alloy rims with brand new rubber

So far the car is already outfitted with some performance items and they include…

- Short ram air intake
- 4-2-1 Hedman Chikara hedders
- New LEX clutch with ~5K KMS
- Skunk 2 Coil Over springs
- KYB GR2 struts
- Custom 2 ¼ Cat Back exhaust

With just the few modifications listed above on the stock engine this little CRX pulls hard and handles like a go-kart. It is by far the most fun car to drive and I will very much miss it. There are tons of other parts that will be included that are not listed above like brand new brakes in the box, a new filter for the short ram intake, extra engine mounts…literally boxes of stuff will go with the car.

Currently the car is stored in a heated garage where it has sat for the past 3 years with little driving. The body is in good shape with little rust but could use a paint job as its original and the body kit needs to be colour matched. The interior is very well maintained and comes with a few extra parts as well. The car would likely start if needed but is not currently insured so no test pilots…sorry.
