1993 Honda Civic Si - $2500
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1993 Honda Civic Si for sale, in Toronto - GTA.
Mileage: 237000km
Asking price is $2500
the need for a 4-door finally took priority, so regrettably, i am selling my 1993 civic si. i purchased this car in october of 2008 and have gone through it extensively, although it was a clean car when i bought (which is why i bought it :) ). the pictures speak for themselves - exterior pictures were taken 1/25/10 (2 weeks ago), interior pictures were taken this morning.
the car is well-sorted and extremely balanced. it will not disappoint. the suspension is tight, quiet and the brakes are phenomenal. engine noise is nice and perfect for a daily driver (read: quiet but visceral). the del sol seats poisiton you much lower than the stock seats (good for 6' guys like me), and are much more agressively bolstered. and it's very efficient - around the city i get about 25MPG and on my last long trip (1600KM) i got 38MPG! (that's about 600KM/tank.) and it pulls better than any other D16Z6 i've driven (likely due to the balanced nature of the breathing mods).
some highlights:
- 237K
- 5MT
- very clean (look at the carpet and dash) for a 17-year old car!
- everything works (and i mean EVERYTHING - A/C (just repaired and charged), sunroof, power mirrors, etc)
- full JDM ITR 98-spec suspension, including 23MM rear swaybar with beaks kit (stock 19MM front bar makes this car a bit more 'rotatable'), front LCAs/UCAs, and rear LCAs/upper links
- full JDM ITR 98-spec exhaust (custom-fitted to this car - midpipe was shorted at the cat)
- high-flow cat
- header
- custom intake with recent K&N filter
- front brakes: 10.4" non-ABS setup with brembo blanks with hawk HPS pads, braided lines
- rear brakes: GSR rear-disc conversion with braided lines
- correct 4040 prop valve
- upgraded 15/16" master cylinder
- all bushings are JDM ITR 98-spec, and rear trailing arm bushings were replaced with the new OEM-spec (same as mugen) when the rear brakes were done
- well-setup short shifter (the best i've ever felt - just the right amount of notchiness, with a solid, positive feel)
- JDM SiR front strut brace
- 15" SiR wheels with hankook snows (lots of life left)
- red-stripe del sol seats (stock seats also included)
- momo steering wheel and hub (the momo wheel pictured stays with me (present from my wife), i will put another wheel in for the new owner), stock steering wheel is included
- old-school pioneer CD player (matches the stock lighting perfectly)
- clutch done at 200K
- timing belt and water pump done at 200K
- recent oil change (235K), brake fluid flush (228K), coolant flush (235K) with new t-stat
- box of spares included
- some small rust on the driver's side rear quarter (easy fix), passenger side is a bit worse (worth fixing)
- full, detailed excel spreadsheet of maintenance logs from the day i purchased it (consider the value of this on a vehicle in this price range)
- factory literature from the original owner included
$2500 firm.
the car runs beautifully and i would drive it to vancouver and back without hesitation. however, the car is sold as is - i can certify it for the additional expense. currently insured, clean and ready for purchase.
please contact me at peter AT tenecom DOT com or at 416.919.2618 if interested. located in the west end of the city.
thanks!
peter
