1996 Ek Hatch - Gord Bush Build
Hi, up for sale is my 1996 Honda Civic Cx. This car is my pride and joy and has never seen one winter since my ownership. Due to some personal financial changes, unfortunately I MUST sell it. The plan was to Turbo my car, but I am now out of a job and need to pay bills.
The body was painted 2 years ago ($3200) and has a type r lip on the back and a spoon lip on the front. The car has AC and power steering and is absolutely mint. The engine has about 9100 km since the engine work. I have a separate car for winter and driving to work. This car is still great on gas considering the following.
The engine is a 2001 Integra Type R, not imported and had 71 230 km when bought. I had it fully built by Gord Bush of Gord Bush Performance. It has JE low comp. Pistons, Eagle Rods (the new version with bigger rod bolts) all new Honda OEM bearings on the bottom end and ARP head studs. The head was slightly milled down for a fresh surface and the valve seals replaced. Gord Bush also installed a custom CNC machined block guard. I have put on a Password JDM Kevlar intake, and Megan Racing 4 to 1 one-piece header with a 2.5-inch collector to a Magnaflow spyncore high flow cat. converter, to a Vibrant 3 inch (inner diameter) cat. back exhaust system. The engine has a full MSD ignition system including cap and rotor with top of the line Magnacore wires and NGK plugs from the JDM ITR. Fuel is delivered by a Walboro 255 lph fuel pump. New timing belt last year and valve adjustment as well. Also have an aluminium Moroso Oil Pan with Spoon magnetic tranny and engine oil drain plugs.
The engine is running on a Chrome chipped p26 and has been dyno tuned. Runs absolutely flawlessly. I have dyno sheets to show.
The tranny is a 2000 GSR tranny with 32 031 Km on it. Yes 32 031km. It has an ACT stage 3 clutch good for over 400 horsepower, B16 flywheel (freshly machined) new OEM clutch slave cylinder, B16 shift linkages with all new OEM bushings and a Skunk2 dual bend short shifter with weighted shift ****. Also has new OEM B-series axles.
Every piece of suspension on this car is off a 2000 Civic Sir with only 88000 Km. The car is lowered with Eibach Sportline springs on Sir Shocks, front Sir sway bar with new end links, Megan racing lower control arms and rear tie bar. I have a 4 wheel disc conversion with new brakes and Earls stainless steel brake lines on all 4 corners. Also have a Integra Type R brake booster, master cylinder and prop valve running super blue fluid to all corners.
My car is on a set of brand new this year Konig Heliums (15 x 7.5) with Kumho Ecsta tires.
The interior is mint and stock with a Type R shift boot, and a Alpine deck with full component speakers by Hertz, Alpine Amp and Orion 12 inch sub. Also this year I put in a Compustar top of the line alarm system.
This car is in great condition and must be seen and driven, it runs immaculate. I can arrange to store the car in a heater storage space over the winter for the owner if desired. I am a motivated (very sad) seller, and will consider all reasonable offers. I intended to keep this car for a long time but now cannot.
