Bought the car in 2003, had it repainted and restored to my satisfaction as soon as I bought it. There is zero rust anywhere, it has been babied since day one. No winters since the repaint. Stored indoors and covered for the winter seasons. Gets washed once a week when it is on the road. T-top shades included (many MR2s are missing them). JDM motor, no EGR system on it.
