FS: 1996 Honda Civic Si - 2600
Im selling my 96' EK soon.
350000KM,
RED
SI
5SPD
Power options
WORKING A/C!!!
Basically, Last year the engine timing belt snapped, so we bought a JDM for it, there was a mix up and I got a NON vtec motor instead.
The motor was put in at about 320000, the timing belt and water pump were done at that time.
Around the same time the following was installed
-Inner/outter Tie rods
-Both front lower balljoints and uppers as well.
-Passenger Axle
Recent work includes (within 2 months)
Fuel Filter
Plugs
Wires
Dizzy rotor and cap
Wheel bearing
Starter
new battery
The car has no rust but it has share of dents and scratches, most importantly NO RUST!
My mom is waiting for her 2007 SI to be delivered, we anticipated it's arrival last week but they're in such high demand that it's becoming tricky for the dealership to find one.
The car has been my moms daily driver since new; we're the original owners.
As for the bad,
-The passenger window doesn't work, I suspect the door harness because after so many years the wires have cracked and become frail, I haven't made any attempt to hard wire it because I have no time.
-Could use brakes
-The engine seems to sputter abit, under hard load it hiccups, I suspect the dizzy coil but I'm not certain.
It's a good reliable car, my mom drives it daily and in the summer the A/C blows cold! Got it refilled last summer.
Forgot to mention the car is e-tested, just the brakes for cert will be needed. This car is really intended for someone who needs a solid shell for a build up. I'm pretty firm on the price given all the recent work and the fact thats it's an SI. I won't go any lower, although I will toss in a set of 17'' rims from my smashed EL for no additional cost, the fronts needs to be replaced but they're nice rims.
Car should be ready to sell within a couple weeks, this should give a buyer time to come up with the money, I'm not in a rush to sell as well, so if the buyer needs sometime to come up with the cash thats not an issue as long as it's within a reasonable amount of time. I'll only do this with a non refundable deposit.

You can PM me but I don't visit here often anymore because I'm temporarily back into DSM's, so if you don't recieve a prompt response, dont be worried I will reply.
Let me know,
-Dom
