02 sensor problem i cant get rid of!!??

hi, ever since i swapped my y7 to y8, using the same harness..cutting it, and extending the o2 sensors to reach the end of my dc sport header (pre-cat) and the end of the a random cat i welded on (post-cat) ive been getting the annoying engine light and i cant seem the find out how to get rid of it..ive re-wired it a couple times each to make sure i didnt mess up the wiring, and deleted the "sensor 1, bank 1" so many times..ive heard that im not getting everything from my y8, using up gas and poluting the sh*t out of the air...

has anyone experienced this problem or does anyone know what the problem is..im also open to any suggestions.
thanks

im no expert in electronics by far but the wires in a o2 sensor are different so extending it with reg wires can mess them up.. something about ohms i think.
i suggest converting to obd1..it will eliminate the 2nd o2 sensor.. The cost of a harness and a ecu is probably the cost of a rear o2 sensor..

you didn't need to cut the wire if you would have just pull back on the wiring lume there should have been like 6 in" of wire 2 play with. I did it with my Y7 had no problems with it !!

u need more than 6 INCHES to wire obd2 o2 sensors on a dc sport header that are usually for obd1..u should need at least another 2 FEET or more each
u might have the stock exhaust mani/cat thing? where the exhaust mani and cat are one and the sensors are in the front of the motor instead of behind like in his case

extending obd2 02 sensors is a bitch just go obd1 and eliminate a bunch of possibilities..had the same problem with my old hatch..but i sold it

Should have come seen me at Loco Rides I make O2 extensions ( plug and play, no cutting) all the time.
