b series exhuast manifold on a d series.

b series exhuast manifold on a d series.

ok so say i took a b series exhuast manifold and cut the flange off and got a d series flange, would the exahuast holes line up into the new flange to be welded in. i know the bolt patterns are different but the holes for the exhuast to go through seems equal opening and equal spaced, can this work?

I don't think so.

I'll take pictures of the 2 side by side and post them up....i'm pretty sure they're different, b-series heads have larger ports
