megan racing header and obx cat

Just asking what do you guys think about a Megan racing stainless steel header and a Obx hight flow cat. I want to dress my engine bay a bit. I have a 98 ek hatch with a D16y7, I have an intake, and a cat back exhaust. Would this be a good combination? Just to remind all , i don't plan on a swap. I'd appreciate any comments. Thank You.

one thing i would just be careful for, is taking out your o2 sensor, they are often rusted in and if not taken out slowly can strip crack or brake. use some good gunk or liquid wrench stuff and slowly take it out.

You'll notice a slight diff in exhaust sound and throttle response but don't expect "miracle" horsepower numbers

if your stock header has begun to crack, then yeah this is a good option. remember you'll have to extend the O2 wires. i don't know how long i'd expect these to last though... i haven't seen the thickness of the material

hey man well its gonna be louder thats for sure.. but like said above wont be moving much quick but u will be able to notice it.. for my o2 senor for wiring it longer i used regular with ... ur gonna need to cut it in the middle and then do it one by one as they have the same colour wire sometimes.. i did about 3ft. and ran it stright up so there wa no heat near it... for the o2 sensor after cat that is... and wrap it nicely with electric wire and u will be more then ok... and ya use liquid wrench and let them sit for 5 mins and go very slow... if ud like a hand pm me bro..

with a high flow cat or test pipe, you will notice a bit more rasp to the exhaust note when accelerating, but a lot less drone at cruising speed/rpms.
