92-95 CX rear speaker wiring dilemma
Hey guys I am trying to install rear speakers in my hatch. The wires running from the deck to the back are red/yellow and white/brown.
I want to know which one is positive and which one is negative to hook up to the speaker.
And also can I use an RCA cable from a DVD player to run from the deck to the amp? Would I lose any quality? I tested it and it worked.
Lastly, how do I make sure the deck doesn't send bass to the speakers? My buddy said the deck needs to be set at high passover and the amp to the sub at low passover. Is that right?
Thanks

take the deck out and look at the wire ( I don t find any difference though)
what ? sure
just go into the setting of the deck find the equalizer and lower the bass setting let you speakers take care of some it though... yes you sub/amp should be set on low bypass filter...

check the wiring at the speaker and at the deck ... corrosion or loose wiring can cause that ...
