hey , my car was broken in to and the A**hole broke my dash to steal my deck, im not sure why... but i found a 99 dash with the climate controls on the side insted of the bottom. will this work on my car? my car is a 97.
i hope u can help me my dash is an eye sore.

It will work but you have to change the heater control box as well. The 99-00 controls are electric and the 96-98 controls are manual. I have done this conversion.

 

the heater control box is the unit behind the controls? can i unplug mine and plug in the new one using the same connectors?

 

No. You need a wire harness as well. I have an extra heater control and wire harness But I do not have the heater unit.
And yes the heater is the one behind the controls.
