I just recently installed a new amp with 2 12's in the trunk

i realized my radio reception for certain stations is very poor, alot of static,

when i turn the amp off from the deck it works fine again, reception is clear and nice,

what can be the cause?

please let know

you might be getting feedback to the amplified antenna try using a diode or relay.

i notice now that this problem only happens when the car is running, when i press the gas i loose radio reception a bit
but when i idle its somewhat ok

is this still the same problem that i need a diode or relay?
