bass tracks wont hurt it, as long as the gain is set right and the output is never clipped and your rms is macthed closely to what the woofer can hanlde your all good.

Even with lower powered systems, as long as the singla is a SINE wave and not a square your fine.

maybe your pre out voltage is higher making your gain right now to be much lower but still set up proper.
