Belkin IPOD Car Kit??

Bought one of these, but I can't get it to transmit without static. Anyone own one of these? I have read all the instructions, the operation is fairly simple.

It requires you to find a station on the FM dial that has a week broadcasting signal ~ so basically anything that is just producing fuzz. So, I get that far, plug it in, and I can hear the IPOD ~ but with static. I have tried many stations with no luck.

Anyone? Thanks

tape adapter with my belkin car kit...I drive too far of distances to deal with switching up stations all the damn time...but it does work static free if I'm in a specific area on the right frequency

AUX in would work best.

I had an iTrip way back when, hated it, switched to aux for almost 2.5 years now.

do they not sell a $50 cable for basically any big aftermarket deck that hooks up to your cd changer wire so you can use it for the iPod instead.............?
