Best alarm for preventing theives

Hey, just wondering if I have a Viper pager alarm with back up battery and siren, shock, tilt and motion sensor. How can thieves steal my ride?

They can cut siren or my battery but i have them backed up. Also, they cant tilt my car (tilt sensor), hit it (shock sensor) or even come close to it for a long period of time (motion sensor).

So i'm pretty safe, rite?

I'm currently searching around for something good and reliable.
I was thinking about the viper 691xv 2-way. I just want a 2-way
with a screen that is reliable.

Any suggestions on what I should get?

got the same one, all other remotes look ugly, with clifford you get that nice carbon fibre remote look

you got yourself a decent set up especially that you got yourself the back up alarm, a system is so easy to disable with out one. Consider getting an internal siren to ward of theives.

your car can still be broken into, parking lots of movie theaters are popular places for theives, your watching a movie while someones doing a quick smash and grab

oh and dont forget the trust crow bar to your trunk, even with a trunk sensor a quick grab of your amp is enough for a theif.

Yeah, internal siren right under the seat.

I dunno movie threatres are pretty safe i think. I mean so many ppl coming in and out. People coming to movies and going. Even if the theives broke my glass, the alarm will sound and there isnt much they can take in 10-30 secs.

I'm just worried professionals can disable my alarm and just drive off with my entire car.

helll no, i worked security at a large mall with a theatre and let me say sooo many cars were stolen parked right outside. daylight, night (most at night 8-12) but alot of rides get stolen during movies. not so much of souped up hondas as opposed to GMC Denali's, Escalades but civics do go missing alot too.

wow, thanks for the "one" suggestion LMAO...

Its true though, you can only do so much for your car, I just hope
that the next time someone pushes a shopping cart into my car
I get there in time to catch them...

theres also audio sensors that measure the distinct sound of glass breaking, will trip your alarm faster.

Your proxy/motion sensor will NOT go off if they use something like porcelin, but by the time they get in the car they should have tripped either the door or proxy sensor.

I just purchased a Hood Lock for my car, theives aint going anywhere near my engine bay

Sounds safe to me. You can only do so much to your car and leave the rest to luck and fate.

Once you go overboard, you have now become the slave of your car.
