What's a good pager alarm/remote starter with good range for around $500 installed? I'd like to get keyless entry as well.

keyless entry
pager with good range
lots of sensors for everything
remote starting

that's what i care about most.

You already know what I'm going to suggest, but it's a little more than $500.

Actually, let me say that over again....

Maybe it does in an open country field with no buildings or power wires around, but in the city..... nope.

lockdown as those powerstart alarms.. 2 - way pager..

they would probably do it for like $400 installed.
check the first post, has their info i think..

It's not the best alarm, but if it's installed correctly shouldn't give you any problems.. just put the case around the remote and it'll be safe.. Difference with compustar is they have a pretty solid remote that can take a beating, options are pretty much the same.

I don't know how much the price has dropped, but the 2-way Code Alarm has supposedly dropped their price substantially. It is the best 2-way I have used. I have never had a problem with it like others on the market or my other 2-way.

Then you haven't tried a Compustar.

And if you said you had one, and it gave you problems, then I can tell you almost 100%, that most of the time there is a problem with a Compustar, it has to do with the install, and not the alarm/starter/2 way pager part.

They are one (if not the best) alarm/starter/2 way pager's on the market.

I've delt with Code Alarm in the past, and they are good as well, but if I had to choose one for my car, I would rather pay a bit more and get the Compustar. My installer sells the Code Alarm as well, for those people that don't want to dish out the $$'s to get the Compustar.

If you want more info, PM me, and I'll get you in touch with my installer.
