Cigarette burn marks on ceiling cloth
I knew this was gonna happen one of these days... so it did this afternoon. I was aiming for the sun roof but my hand missed and I pointed the cigarette right on the ceiling.
Needless to say, it burned a black hole lol.
I was thinking using grey spray paint to cover it up. Or does anyone else have a better idea? How cost effective is it to go and change the entire roof cloth? And is it possible to change the roof cloth to a vinyl piece, like Integra interior roof?

bad Nova_Dust!
That's why I don't smoke in my car. I smoked in my last one and made a few burn marks.
Sorry, I don't know of any other way to fix the marks other than replace the material altogether. I just replaced my whole car.

Chris, you drive a 2002 Sir no? You already replaced the entire ceiling cloth? Why?
And how much did it cost you? Who did the service for you?

The parts where the cloth is attached to the door panel (you know, the light grey edger), how do I go about doing so? Can I take that strip panel off easily or I have to use force? I think you would wrap it first then cover the edge up with that panel right? Like the baseboards for carpets or hardwood floor.
So where should I buy the black vinyls? And black ceiling? **** isn't that kinda dark? LOL

I agree.... vinyl is even cheaper than that headliner material stuff... get white vinyl for up there, not black...black on the roof is just sick...or get somethng the same color as the a-pillar moulding (tan)

B, black vinyl is sick as in ugly or badass looking?
The moulding you were talking about, is that the plastic edger along the edge of the roof to the window? If so, mine is light grey, so white vinyl would be the best choice? To match seats?
How do you take off that moulding/plastic cover? It seems glued to the car...

No, sick as in wrong... who wants a black ceiling? Yes, the plastic is light gray... go with that! The white seats... I'm sure you'll be replacing at some point, so don't do white roof... that was a bad idea. The a-pillar (thingy that holds the windshield in) moulding (light gray/tan) plastic is not glued on, but rather clipped in. Very carefully pull on it to remove. It's easy to break those clips.
