What is the model number???
Does the deck have the OEL display???
If so it is possible that the face plate is no good. Have you ever dropped the face plate???

I had the same problem years ago with mine and I got a new one from Pioneer.

I'd have to check the model number... but this happenns only when u move the deck, cause its kinda lose.. I tried moving just the face plate, and nothing happened.. if i'm not mistaken, I think there's one wire that controlls the lights... the deck doesn't go off.. JUST the lights on the display screen

The wire that controls the lights is for the dimmer switch for the deck. If you are loosing your face lights then there is a problem between the face and the deck itself.

check the "plug that goes between the face and the deck itself. It may be dirty.

i had the same problem along time ago... might be a stupid answer but check the fuses, i had 1 fuse that was blown and i didnt think it had anything to do with the deck but i replaced it anyways and it fixed the deck.
