Ek hand brake handle...how do i remove it?

Ek hand brake handle...how do i remove it?
Does anyone know how to remove the e-brake handle? I went to honda and they said its all one piece. I think you can cut it, but with what...the plastic is thick. Has anyone done it before??? help me please

coudnt tell yah, but i think you live near me... ever see a blue eg hatch with primer on the pass. side driving by ur street?

No worries everyone....i took a hack saw to it. Was a bit of work, but it came off. Put a carbon fibre one on...looks good

I think that there are some threads about this before and it's basically pull and twist as hard as you can... and then some more!

pulling and twisting was not moving. Im a big guy, 240lb former hockey player and that thing wasn't moving. The handle on my Eg was like that, but the Ek is one piece, i went to the dealership

i had to cut mine, so you have to as well ... i mean butcher it, that plastic is thick and hard as hell ... have fun
