Front Speaker mount Prob 92 si hatch

I bought 6.5 inch kicker speakers today to upgrade the crap from the factory.. but the darn speakers dont mount up right to the plastic basket , they are much bigger. , is there any hondas that have a basket that would fit my car and mount up nice with a 6.5 inch speaker..

Depth is not the problem.., its the circumference..
Thanks

Joe

I know that with my 6.5 fronts I had to custom make a 3/4" MDF spacer in order for them to fit. I no longer use the plastic basket that came with the stock speaker.

I used the one side of the plastic template to create the new spacer, you just need to turn it upside down and trace it out.
