frs radio - what do you recommend?

Hey guys - I'm looking at buying a couple of frs radio's and know that a bunch of the guys in the club use them on the cruises. What do you guys think of the Motorola 5320 or 5420 - are they good units? do you use AA batteries, nicd, or nimh - which is best??? is it worth getting one that has vox (voice activated microphone)?? is there a different unit you'd recommend.

Thanks in advance for your help

i have the T6200 and love it
it does everything but GPS and tell me the weather

but if you're going to be using it for the cruises and such.... and you don't care about the "bling" factor...
go with something that is easy to hold... and has sub channels

also... check the volume.... mine's great... but not loud enough
